Plain Dryer Bearings

In many recent applications for board dryers and conveyors, manufactures and users have designed or chosen bearing assemblies that use a plain type bearing. Some designs use full cylindrical bearings while others use segmented or half bearings. Because all Metcar^® grades are manufactured by Metallized Carbon Corporation, the company can design and manufacture bearings for any of these applications. The advantage of using Metcar^® bearings in these assemblies is that the customer receives the same quality consistency and technical support as with all the company's other products. All Metcar^® bearing grades are suitable for these applications.
